WardWizard jumps on lining up close to Rs 650 crore investment for manufacturing of Li-ion advance cells

Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility is currently trading at Rs. 54.40, up by 0.70 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 53.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 53.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 54.40 and Rs. 53.05 respectively. So far 96869 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 100.70 on 17-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 47.80 on 26-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.90 and Rs. 47.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1420.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.16% and 29.75% respectively.

WardWizard Innovations and Mobility is lining up close to Rs 650 crore investment for the manufacturing of Li-ion advance cells and related infrastructure. The company, which sells electric two-wheelers under the Joy brand, plans to come up with an R&D centre and an assembly plant to set up the 1GWh cell production plant at its electric vehicle ancillary cluster in Vadodara.

The company has already tied up with Singapore-based renewable energy management consulting firm Sunkonnect to do a feasibility study and identification of the potential partner for production processes.
