Vaibhav Global surges as its arm partners with Vodafone Germany
Vaibhav Global is currently trading at Rs. 323.30, up by 4.05 points or 1.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 319.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 319.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 324.95 and Rs. 319.10 respectively. So far 4997 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 539.95 on 11-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 288.00 on 01-Jul-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 333.00 and Rs. 317.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5267.20 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.50% and 14.59% respectively.
Vaibhav Global’s (VGL) German subsidiary -- Shop LC GMBH has expanded its presence in Germany by partnering with Vodafone Germany on its nation-wide cable network.
With this arrangement, Shop LC added around 13 million additional households in Germany. Launched in July 2021, Shop LC was airing across cable and satellite TV networks and serving around 25 million households in Germany and additional around 2 million households in Austria. With this move, Shop LC’s teleshopping network will now be present in around 90% of total households in Germany (around 38 million).
