VST Tillers Tractors surges on launching VST range of Tractors, Power Tillers in Southern Africa

VST Tillers Tractors is currently trading at Rs. 2809.05, up by 164.80 points or 6.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 2644.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2740.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2853.95 and Rs. 2740.00 respectively. So far 5621 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2,853.95 on 07-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1504.30 on 16-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2853.95 and Rs. 2412.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2284.51 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.86% and 26.37% respectively.

VST Tillers Tractors (VST) has launched the VST range of Tractors and Power Tillers in Southern Africa. The company has entered into an agreement with ETG (Export Trading Group), for distribution of its Tractors, Power Tillers, Power Reapers and Diesel Engines in the Southern African markets including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Zambia. ETGL, a global conglomerate with expertise across various industries, operates an established Automotive and Farm Equipment Distribution business in Southern African region.

The objective behind the distribution model of VST Tillers Tractors in ETGL's portfolio is to expand its offering in the industry. The launch introduces the complete range of VST's Tractors and Power Tillers into the Southern African market. The range extends from 18 HP (13.3 KW) 4WD to 50 HP (37.28 KW) Tractors and Small Farm Mechanization implements like, Power Weeders, Power Reapers and Power Tillers ranging from 5 HP (3.7 KW) to 16 HP (11.8 KW).

VST Tillers Tractors was incorporated in technical collaboration and joint venture with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan for the manufacture of Power Tillers and Diesel Engines.
