UpScalio launches private-label gaming brand Archer Tech Labs, achieves annualised run-rate of INR 3Cr
New Delhi - UpScalio, an Indian e-commerce roll-up, has announced the launch of Archer Tech Labs, an electronic peripherals brand exclusively geared towards the gaming industry.
While working on previously acquired brands Green Soul Ergonomics (gaming chairs) and Tizum (electronic peripherals), UpScalio’s team identi?ed a clear market gap.
Gamers have higher functional requirements, and a deep-seated attachment to their identity, which leads them to look for unique solutions to their peripheral needs.
Archer Tech Labs, is exclusively built for gamers, and supplies a large selection of premium gaming accessories, with features that rival the largest international brands at a competitive price point. Archer is looking to double down on high category addressability for gamers and provide all solutions under one roof. This will further differentiate it from other electronic peripheral brands.
The brand has debuted exclusively on Amazon with 12 products across cooling pads, gaming mice, gaming keyboards, and mousepads. In just 40 days, the cooling pads have broken into the Top 5 Best Sellers on Amazon. Each product has been
designed to unlock the highest performance for gamers - The cooling pads allow for rapid heat dissipation, the mice have eight buttons to maximise dexterity, and the mechanical keyboards enhance the pace of keystrokes.
The brand has adopted a customer-centric approach to their product development, and will continue to build features that elevate the experience of the gamer. It has already reached a 4.5 rating on Amazon.
Apart from performance marketing, Archer Tech Labs will be tying up with esports teams, gaming media outlets, and is also developing a comprehensive social media strategy to promote the brand. They will also participate in events such as Comic-Cons to reach their target audience.
Speaking on the development, Spokesperson - UpScalio, said “This is the ?rst time we’ve decided to build a brand from scratch. Having worked on our existing brands, our teams were well versed with the market segment, which made the decision making much faster. We identi?ed a large selection gap for gamers and quickly built a unique product portfolio to service that. We will expand Archer to global
markets such as the USA and Middle East, and also debut it on other Indian marketplaces. Based on the customer response we’ve seen, we’re targeting a 20Cr ARR in one year of operations.”
In the long term, Archer Tech Labs is looking to go from being a destination for gaming peripherals, to a key part of the gamer’s lifestyle.
