VA Tech Wabag soars on bagging order worth $14 million from BAPCO

A Tech Wabag is currently trading at Rs. 1288.75, up by 76.30 points or 6.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 1212.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1247.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1289.00 and Rs. 1236.70 respectively. So far 5388 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1943.95 on 09-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 647.60 on 30-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1439.60 and Rs. 1109.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7773.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.88% and 59.99% respectively.

VA Tech Wabag (WABAG) has bagged order worth $14 million (around Rs 121 crore) from BAPCO Refining B.S.C (BAPCO). The order is for operation of Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWTP) located in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for a period of 7 years.

This state-of-the-art IWTP treats 4,400 US gallons per minute (USGPM) of Wastewater and is based on advanced Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology, which ensures superior treatment efficiency, meeting stringent environmental and industrial standards.
