OUTLOOK - USDINR

Rupee opened sharply 10 paise higher at 72.87 versus previous close of 72.97 against the US dollar and traded in a range and finally closed at 72.87 itself. USDINR had gained as far as the intraday high of 72.85 and fell to an intraday low of 72.92. The dollar index which compares the strength of the dollar against 6 major currencies declined 0.42% and closed at 90.57. Brent crude futures increased a further 0.50% to trade at $60.86/barrel. USDINR near futures are at 73.0350 with the next support seen at 72.9450 and next resistance seen at 73.1000 ahead of market opening on wednesday.
