Adani Green Energy gains on reporting 95% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1836.45, up by 15.75 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 1820.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1870.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1900.00 and Rs. 1820.05 respectively. So far 334429 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2173.65 on 03-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 816.00 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1900.00 and Rs. 1679.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 289909.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.38% and 24.11% respectively.

Adani Green Energy has reported net loss of Rs 89 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25) as compared to net loss of Rs 205 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 341.38% at Rs 3,637 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 824 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 94.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 629 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 323 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.43% at Rs 3,122 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 2,550 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
