Turmeric

Jeera

* Jeera trading range for the day is 13225-13885.

* Jeera dropped on profit booking after prices gained due to high export demand and sowing in Gujarat has gone down to 4.69 lakh hectares

* Jeera production for 2021-22 is estimated at 391,291 MT compared to last year’s 451,451 MT

* The Unjha market is receiving nearly 1,000 bags per day from north Gujarat, Saurashtra, and parts of Rajasthan.

* In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -40.6 Rupees to end at 13227.8 Rupees per 100 kg.

Dhaniya

* Dhaniya trading range for the day is 6991-7455.

* Dhaniya prices gained as arrivals in MP and Rajasthan has been reported damaged due to adverse weather

* Currently 15/20 percent moisture is coming in new crop.

* Yield of coriander in Rajasthan, which was considered 10/12 lakh sacks, has started getting limited to 10 lakh bags at present.

* In Kota spot market in Rajasthan the prices gained 2.1 Rupees to end at 6982.15 Rupees per 100 kg.
