Observations
Silver trading range for the day is 71095-72715.
Silver dropped pressured by strength of dollar and runup in Treasury yields. Strong economic data added leeway for the Federal Reserve to remain hawkish for a prolonged period.
The dollar index rose above the 105 mark, its highest in six months.
The yield on the US 10-year Treasury note approached 4.3% in the first week of September.
