Torrent Power is currently trading at Rs. 496.40, up by 6.85 points or 1.40 % from its previous closing of Rs. 489.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 498.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 498.90 and Rs. 490.45 respectively. So far 6954 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 606.05 on 15-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 416.00 on 19-May-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 498.90 and Rs. 462.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23857.82 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.44% and 17.00% respectively.
Pursuant to competitive bidding process, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) had granted a Letter of Award (LoA) to Torrent Power for Wind Power Project of 300 MW to be set up in state of Karnataka and confirming long-term Power Purchase Arrangement for the power generated from the proposed project.
Torrent Power is an integrated utility engaged in the business of power generation, transmission and distribution with operations in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
