Torrent Power gains on reporting 2-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit
Torrent Power is currently trading at Rs. 549.60, up by 0.85 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 548.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 560.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 564.45 and Rs. 544.35 respectively. So far 42554 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 606.05 on 15-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 416.00 on 19-May-2022.

The company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 480.77 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 199.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 55.91% at Rs 4760.84 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 3053.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 502.01 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 207.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company reported 2-fold jump at Rs 6618.62 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 3135.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
