Thermax surges after its arm acquires two companies

Thermax is currently trading at Rs. 1996.15, up by 7.70 points or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 1988.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2045.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2074.55 and Rs. 1984.20 respectively. So far 2464 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2347.00 on 13-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1288.35 on 11-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2074.55 and Rs. 1965.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23645.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.52% and 10.50% respectively.

Thermax’s subsidiary -- First Energy has acquired two companies - Jalansar Wind Energy (JWEPL) and Kanakal Wind Energy (KWEPL). JWEPL and KWEPL shall become wholly owned step-down subsidiaries of the company. Both the companies belong to the renewable energy sector.
