• The BSE Sensex ended at 53,158.85 up by 254.80 points or 0.48% after trading in a range of 53,266.12 and 52,948.43. There were 17 stocks advancing and 13 stocks declining on the index.

• The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.31%, and Small cap index was up by 0.43%.

• The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 2.04%, FMCG was up by 0.24%, and Realty was up by 4.01%, while, Energy was down by 0.37%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.87%, Utilities was down by 0.08%, and Telecom was down by 0.84%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

• There were HCL Tech was up by 5.10%, L&T was up by 4.19%, Tech Mahindra was up by 2.93%, HDFC Bank was up by 1.48%, and UltraTech Cement was up by 1.15%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

• There were Bharti Airtel was down by 0.84%, Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 0.83%, Asian Paint was down by 0.64%, Titan was down by 0.51% and Sun Pharma was down by 0.42%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

• The CNX Nifty ended at 15,924.20 up by 70.25 points or 0.44% after trading in a range of 15,952.35 and 15,855.00. There were 27 stocks advancing and 23 stocks declining.
