* The BSE Sensex ended at 49,751.41 up by 7.09 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 50,327.31 and 49,659.85. There were 20 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.98%, and Small cap index was up by 0.74%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 1.11%, Utilities was up by 0.40%, Oil & Gas was up by 2.02%, Realty was up by 2.89%, FMCG was up by 0.38%, and Capital Goods was up by 2.00%, while, Telecom was down by 0.20%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TATA Steel was up by 6.71%, ONGC was up by 5.55%, Indusind Bank was up by 2.55%, L&T was up by 2.35%, and UltraTech Cement was up by 1.68%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Kotak Bank was down by 3.87%, Maruti was down by 1.66%, Bajaj Auto was down by 1.36%, HDFC Bank was down by 1.26%, and HCL Tech was down by 1.02%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,707.80 up by 32.10 points or 0.22% after trading in a range of 14,854.50 and 14,651.85. There were 34 stocks advancing against 16 stocks declining
