Tata Power shines on tying up with HPCL

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 128.00, up by 3.85 points or 3.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 124.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 126.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 128.40 and Rs. 124.65 respectively. So far 1125003 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 132.50 on 09-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 47.25 on 17-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 128.40 and Rs. 122.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39670.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.03% and 20.10% respectively.

Tata Power Company has joined hands with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) to provide end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the latter's retail outlets at multiple cities and major highways across the country. Under the pact, Tata Power will provide its EV charging infrastructure at HPCL petrol pumps for users.

The charging is enabled with the company's 'EZ Charge Mobile' platform, which makes it a seamless experience to vehicle owners. The partnership will play a strong role in encouraging EV owners to charge their EVs across various petrol pumps.
