Tata Power rises as its arm bags order from SJVN

Tata Power is currently trading at Rs. 247.55, up by 2.60 points or 1.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 244.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 249.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 251.30 and Rs. 244.90 respectively. So far 2184057 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.30 on 05-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 254.00 and Rs. 238.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 79116.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.03% and 26.11% respectively.

Tata Power Solar Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has bagged India’s largest single solar EPC order of 1GW for around Rs 5,500 crore from SJVN. This EPC order has been designed keeping in mind the innovative use of ‘Make in India’ cells and modules.

The project will be developed under the CPSU scheme of MNRE and will be completed within a period of 24months. Covering around 5000+ acres of land in Rajasthan, this project aims at reducing around 22,87,128 kg of carbon emission and is expected to generate around 2500 million units annually.
