Tata Power gains on the buzz of planning to raise funds around Rs 2000 crore through bonds
Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 209.05, up by 1.35 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 207.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 207.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 210.30 and Rs. 206.85 respectively. So far 711055 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.00 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 215.35 and Rs. 194.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 66702.71 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.79% and 28.33% respectively.
Tata Power Company is reportedly planning to raise up to Rs 2000 crore through bonds. The company is planning to raise fund for financing its business operations. Meanwhile, the company has received Rs 450 crore ‘sustainable trade finance facility’ from MUFG Bank of Japan to fund its solar projects in India. This credit facility was extended for two solar projects under TP Kirnali (TPKL). TPKL is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy.
