Tata Power gains on raising Rs 1,000 crore through NCDs

Tata Power is currently trading at Rs. 209.00, up by 3.15 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 205.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 207.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 209.95 and Rs. 207.05 respectively. So far 328701 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 210.30 and Rs. 194.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 66782.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.79% and 28.33% respectively.

Tata Power has raised Rs 1,000 crore through allotment of 10,000 unsecured, redeemable, taxable, listed, rated, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis. The maturity of Series I NCDs worth Rs 500 crore is scheduled on January 8, 2030 while the Series II NCDs worth Rs 500 crore would mature on December 29, 2032.
