Tata Motors gains as its group global wholesales rise 5% in Q1FY24

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 624.15, up by 5.70 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 618.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 625.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 634.60 and Rs. 619.05 respectively. So far 1872936 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 634.60 on 10-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 375.50 on 26-Dec-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 634.60 and Rs. 585.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 207626.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.17% and 18.86% respectively.

Tata Motors’ Group global wholesales in Q1 FY24, including Jaguar Land Rover were at 3,22,159 nos., higher by 5%, as compared to Q1 FY23. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q1 FY24 were at 88,456 nos., lower by 15%, over Q1 FY23. Global wholesales of Tata Motors passenger vehicles in Q1 FY24 were at 1,40,450 nos., higher by 8% as compared to Q1 FY23.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 93,253 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 10,324 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 82,929 vehicles.
