Tata Communications gains on getting nod to raise up to Rs 1800 crore through NCDs

Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 1623.80, up by 5.65 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 1618.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1609.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1646.95 and Rs. 1597.25 respectively. So far 35094 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1673.95 on 14-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 972.20 on 20-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1646.95 and Rs. 1584.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46282.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.25% and 9.88% respectively.

Tata Communications has received an approval for raising of funds through issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis, for an amount up to Rs 1,800 crore. The Board of Directors at their meeting held on July 19, 2023, has approved same. The Board also authorized an internal committee, to take all actions in respect of finalization of terms of issuance and allotment of NCDs.
