Tata Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 1039.25, up by 5.50 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 1033.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1040.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1053.75 and Rs. 1032.15 respectively. So far 525171 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1158.00 on 18-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 670.55 on 06-May-2021.

Tata Chemicals had reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 262.76 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 119.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 36.27% at Rs 1,217.12 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 893.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company had reported over 15-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 445.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 29.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 32.81% at Rs 3,586.91 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 2,700.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company had reported a rise of 67.30% in its net profit at Rs 801.56 crore as compared to Rs 479.11 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.26% at Rs 3,998.86 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,218.03 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company had reported over 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1,405.13 crore as compared to Rs 436.22 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.42% at Rs 12,878.10 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10,434.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
