The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 35.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 36.17 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 0.80 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 13.06 per cent at Rs 242.26 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 214.27 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.69 per cent to Rs 193.50 crore from Rs 164.41 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 7.29 per cent at Rs 10.45 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 9.74 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 2.21 per cent to Rs 48.76 crore as against Rs 49.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 13.49 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 16.88 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.64 crore, while Taxation decreased by 3.56 per cent at Rs 11.66 crore (Mar'21 Rs 12.09 crore).
