The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 38.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 48.83 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 21.36 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.73 per cent at Rs 356.23 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 346.76 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 4.30 per cent to Rs 300.92 crore from Rs 288.51 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 64.65 per cent at Rs 5.19 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 14.68 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 5.05 per cent to Rs 55.31 crore as against Rs 58.25 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 7.56 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 100.87 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.31 crore, while Taxation decreased by 24.82 per cent at Rs 12.60 crore (Mar'21 Rs 16.76 crore).
