The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 49.11 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 48.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1.05 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.96 per cent at Rs 392.73 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 363.79 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.74 per cent to Rs 341.25 crore from Rs 302.68 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 117.42 per cent at Rs 16.85 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 7.75 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 15.76 per cent to Rs 51.48 crore as against Rs 61.11 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 21.96 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 10.11 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.80 crore, while Taxation decreased by 5.91 per cent at Rs 14.64 crore (Jun'21 Rs 15.56 crore).
