Star Health gains on reporting 13% rise in gross direct premium for YTD December 2022
Star Health and Allied Insurance Company is currently trading at Rs. 595.45, up by 6.15 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 589.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 600.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 603.10 and Rs. 590.45 respectively. So far 4939 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 865.30 on 18-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 469.05 on 01-Jul-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 603.10 and Rs. 577.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 34619.19 crore.

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company has reported 13% growth in gross direct premium at Rs 8,752.0 crore (provisional) for YTD December 2022 as against Rs 7,774.3 crore for YTD December 2021. Out of the total gross direct premium, Health-Retail premium stood at Rs 8,045.5 crore (provisional) for YTD December 2022 as compared to Rs 6,741.0 crore for YTD December 2021, i.e. up by 19%. Health-Group premium and Personal Accident premium stood at Rs 571.7 crore and Rs 133.5 crore (provisional) respectively for YTD December 2022.
