The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 69.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 44.48 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 57.04 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 39.14 per cent at Rs 546.04 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 392.45 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 33.52 per cent to Rs 446.11 crore from Rs 334.11 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 53.97 per cent at Rs 5.39 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 11.71 crore). Operating Profit surged by 71.29 per cent to Rs 99.93 crore as against Rs 58.34 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 23.07 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 38.57 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.37 crore, while Taxation increased by 68.75 per cent at Rs 24.35 crore (Mar'20 Rs 14.43 crore).
