Siemens Ltd Q3 net profit jumps 81.86% at Rs 293.70 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 293.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 161.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 81.86 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 47.27 per cent at Rs 3,914.80 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,658.30 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 42.59 per cent to Rs 3,535.80 crore from Rs 2,479.70 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 61.12 per cent at Rs 74.60 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 46.30 crore). Operating Profit surged by 66.01 per cent to Rs 379.00 crore as against Rs 228.30 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 12.69 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 33.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.70 crore, while Taxation increased by 93.40 per cent at Rs 102.50 crore (Jun'21 Rs 53.00 crore).
