Sanofi India Q2 net profit down 32.47% at Rs 120.40 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 120.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 178.30 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 32.47 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.38 per cent at Rs 699.30 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 789.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.70 per cent to Rs 538.20 crore from Rs 542.00 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 8.19 per cent at Rs 15.70 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 17.10 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 34.80 per cent to Rs 161.10 crore as against Rs 247.10 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 26.41 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 20.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.40 crore, while Taxation decreased by 29.39 per cent at Rs 45.40 crore (Jun'21 Rs 64.30 crore).
