The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 29.78 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 33.78 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 11.84 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.91 per cent at Rs 168.40 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 149.15 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.41 per cent to Rs 118.06 crore from Rs 105.03 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 82.17 per cent at Rs 1.71 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 9.59 crore). Operating Profit surged by 14.12 per cent to Rs 50.35 crore as against Rs 44.12 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.08 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 16.83 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.55 crore, while Taxation increased by 14.48 per cent at Rs 7.75 crore (Mar'21 Rs 6.77 crore).
