The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 25.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 63.79 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 60.26 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 20.00 per cent at Rs 910.33 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 758.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.56 per cent to Rs 873.33 crore from Rs 718.42 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 94.01 per cent at Rs 3.19 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 53.28 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.96 per cent to Rs 37.00 crore as against Rs 40.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 23.40 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 0.70 per cent y-o-y to Rs 14.09 crore, while Taxation decreased by 256.80 per cent at Rs -10.49 crore (Jun'21 Rs 6.69 crore).
