The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 111.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 109.39 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.03 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 39.94 per cent at Rs 974.06 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 696.08 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 49.91 per cent to Rs 805.39 crore from Rs 537.25 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 12.17 per cent at Rs 9.77 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.71 crore). Operating Profit surged by 6.20 per cent to Rs 168.67 crore as against Rs 158.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 24.10 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 9.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.42 crore, while Taxation decreased by 0.03 per cent at Rs 37.31 crore (Mar'21 Rs 37.32 crore).
