The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 25.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 9.77 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 157.01 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 43.06 per cent at Rs 270.36 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 188.98 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 34.81 per cent to Rs 250.01 crore from Rs 185.45 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 12.24 per cent at Rs 16.23 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 14.46 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 249.94 per cent to Rs 27.47 crore as against Rs 7.85 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 144.82 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 45.20 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.94 crore, while Taxation increased by 283.00 per cent at Rs 9.69 crore (Mar'20 Rs 2.53 crore).
