Ramco Cements gains on inaugurating 5th integrated cement plant in Andhra Pradesh
Ramco Cements is currently trading at Rs. 748.00, up by 5.95 points or 0.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 742.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 755.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 758.45 and Rs. 742.00 respectively. So far 4820 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1119.20 on 08-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 575.05 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 759.45 and Rs. 699.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17629.77 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.65% and 14.03% respectively.
Ramco Cements has inaugurated its 5th Integrated Cement Plant at Kolumigundla, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. The plant has a clinkerisation capacity of 2.25 million tonnes per annum. The project cost of the plant is Rs 3,000 crore.
To ensure operational efficiency and pollution free environment, the plant is equipped with state-of-the- art facilities, such as Near-Infrared (NIR) Based online analyser for limestone pile formation, Energy efficient grinding systems, Closed storage sheds for storing all the raw materials, Closed RCC silos with nuisance bagfilters at appropriate locations to avoid dust emissions in storing intermediate products and finished goods and Water sprinkling system to contain fugitive dust.
The plant is capable of manufacturing various types of cement as per BIS specifications. The cement manufactured from this plant will be marketed in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, North Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
