Ramco Cements declines on reporting 45% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

The company has reported a fall of 42.12% in its net profit at Rs 124.07 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 214.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.79% at Rs 1,719.04 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1,640.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 45.23% in its net profit at Rs 118.27 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 215.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.94% at Rs 1,722.68 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1,641.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 17.29% in its net profit at Rs 892.70 crore as compared to Rs 761.08 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.34% at Rs 6,010.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5,303.08 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 12.45% in its net profit at Rs 881.95 crore as compared to Rs 784.33 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.35% at Rs 6,031.69 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5,321.37 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
