RailTel rises on bagging order from Government of Manipur

RailTel Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 98.15, up by 0.25 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 97.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 97.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 98.20 and Rs. 96.20 respectively. So far 41443 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 153.90 on 20-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.00 on 31-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 102.85 and Rs. 96.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3143.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.38% and 22.78% respectively.

RailTel Corporation of India has bagged an order from the Government of Manipur. The company has been chosen for providing high speed Internet Broadband Bandwidth for live broadcasting of football matches to be played in Manipur leg of the Durand cup tournament from August 18 to September 5, 2022.
In addition to live broadcasting of matches, RailTel is also providing broadband internet connectivity for the event offices, venue control room, for security CCTV cameras and the Media Center during the event. RailTel is installing highest quality 1:1 protected internet lease lines for this purpose.

RailTel has been chosen in view of its expertise in pushing high speed optical fiber based reliable and stable broadband internet connectivity all over the country, including remote mountainous terrains in the north east of India.
