RailTel gains on making OTT services available to customers of Railwire
Railtel Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 93.70, up by 0.20 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 93.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.50 and Rs. 93.35 respectively. So far 5616 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 153.90 on 20-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.00 on 31-Mar-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.65 and Rs. 90.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3007.19 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.42% and 22.73% respectively.

Under this new feature, a total of 13 OTT Services will be offered to Railwire subscribers bundled with truly unlimited broadband plans named under ‘RailWire SATRANG’ canvas. There are multiple plans which will become available to existing 4.65 lakh Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) Railwire subscribers & new subscribers, across India. These OTT can be viewed on Smart TVs, Laptops or Smart Phones.
RailWire broadband customers can enjoy multi-channel digital experience and consume infotainment contents from OTTs like Amazon Prime, Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, Sony liv, ErosNow, SunNext, AHA telugu, Alt Balaji, Epicon, MX Player, VOOT, Hungama Movies & TV shows and Hungama Music Pro. RailWire broadband customers can watch contents like web series, movies, songs, live news and host of entertainment channels, once they subscribe to OTT bundled broadband plans.
