Rail Vikas Nigam trades higher on reporting 26% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 33.90, up by 1.00 points or 3.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 33.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 34.50 and Rs. 33.45 respectively. So far 4099288 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 35.60 on 11-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.05 on 04-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 33.45 and Rs. 31.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7109.92 crore.

Total income of the company increased by 32.10% at Rs 5650.22 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 4277.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 26.40% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 312.63 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 247.33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 31.98% at Rs 5,645.28 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 4,277.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported 19.08% rise in its net profit at Rs 940.55 crore as compared to net profit at Rs 789.85 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.31% at Rs 15730.40 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 14796.16 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 21.91% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 922.41 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 756.65 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 6.34% at Rs 15,713.08 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 14,776.26 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
