RVNL soars after its JV emerges as L1 for civil engineering works of Vadodara Division of Western Railway

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 159.20, up by 4.80 points or 3.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 154.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 158.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 163.00 and Rs. 156.90 respectively. So far 2342548 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 163.45 on 04-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 32.60 on 07-Sep-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 163.45 and Rs. 128.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32192.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 78.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.51% and 14.29% respectively.

Rail Vikas Nigam’s (RVNL) joint venture (JV) -- RVNL-MPCC has been emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for ‘All civil engineering works (Earthwork, Blanketing, Retaining Wall /Boundary Wall/ Side Drain, Major Bridges, Minor Bridges and LHS/RUB, LCs, Construction of Station Buildings, Platform, Subways cover over Platforms, Staff Quarters, Passenger Amenities, Circulating Area, approach roads, Offices, Service Buildings, watering, Sanitation, protection works etc.) and Supply of 50 mm Machine Crushed Stone Ballast, Complete track works including linking of Track works in connection with Gauge Conversion work between Petlad - Bhadran (22.50Kms) of Vadodara Division of Western Railway. The RVNL Share is 74% and MPCC Share is 26%. The project cost is Rs 174.27 crore. 

Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
