Bajaj Finserv rises as its life insurance arm reports new business premium of Rs 1374 crore in September

Bajaj Finserv is currently trading at Rs. 2012.80, up by 8.50 points or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 2004.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1991.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2016.20 and Rs. 1991.30 respectively. So far 16626 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2134.45 on 24-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1555.25 on 24-Dec-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2056.80 and Rs. 1991.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 321599.86 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.50% and 22.70% respectively.
Bajaj Finserv’s unlisted insurance subsidiary -- Bajaj Life Insurance has reported new business premium of Rs 1374.58 crore for the month of September 2025. Out of which, Individual single premium stood at Rs 65.73 crore, Individual non-single premium at Rs 694.11 crore, Group single premium at Rs 596.68 crore and Group yearly renewable premium at Rs 18.06 crore.
Meanwhile, its unlisted insurance subsidiary -- Bajaj General Insurance has reported gross direct premium underwritten of Rs 2218.77 crore in the month of September 2025. Besides, gross direct premium underwritten up-to-the month of September 2025 stood at Rs 11,554.35 crore.
