Bajaj Auto monthly sales have come in ahead of expectations. The company reported total monthly sales of 4,02,021units for Sep’21, down by ~9%YoY and up by 7.7% MoM. Domestic sales came at 1,92,348 units were down 16% YoY but up 11.4% MoM while Exports were up 4.5% MoM (-1.4% YoY). Domestic CVs (3Ws) nearly doubles on YoY to 18,403 units (+25.8% MoM) while exports declined by 17% YoY to 22,582 units (+11% MoM). The festive season is expected to provide some support to the lagging domestic 2W sales while Bajaj does stand to benefit on account of its strong exports. We currently have a neutral rating Bajaj Auto.
