The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 97.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 28.28 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 243.78 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 76.75 per cent at Rs 761.36 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 430.76 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 64.71 per cent to Rs 614.56 crore from Rs 373.12 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 13.15 per cent at Rs 4.49 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 5.17 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 154.68 per cent to Rs 146.80 crore as against Rs 57.64 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 44.10 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 39.46 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.97 crore, while Taxation increased by 185.08 per cent at Rs 34.01 crore (Mar'20 Rs 11.93 crore).
