Precision Camshafts Q4 net profit down 6.34% at Rs 16.25 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 16.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 17.35 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 6.34 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.52 per cent at Rs 150.26 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 131.21 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 20.63 per cent to Rs 123.49 crore from Rs 102.37 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 16.48 per cent at Rs 5.23 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 4.49 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.15 per cent to Rs 26.77 crore as against Rs 28.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 18.93 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 6.17 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.86 crore, while Taxation decreased by 0.70 per cent at Rs 5.66 crore (Mar'21 Rs 5.70 crore).
