Power Grid soars on getting nod to raise funds up to Rs 900 crore
Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 227.00, up by 1.15 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 225.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 221.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 228.10 and Rs. 221.25 respectively. So far 191705 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 248.25 on 10-May-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 186.35 on 26-Sep-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 230.40 and Rs. 221.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 158203.27 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.50% and 3.16% respectively.
Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has received approval for the raising of Unsecured, Non-convertible, Non-cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable POWERGRID Bonds-LXXI (71st) Issue 2022-23 on Private placement up to Rs 900 crore by securitization of cashflows of 10 years i.e, till FY 2032-33 of its operational SPV viz., ‘POWERGRID Mithilanchal Transmission (PMTL)’. The Committee of Directors for Bonds at their meeting held on March 9, 2023 approved the same.
