* The BSE Sensex ended at 61,235.30 up by 85.26 points or 0.14% after trading in a range of 61,348.57 and 60,949.81. There were 20 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.38%, and Small cap index was up by 0.49%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Oil & Gas was up by 0.83%, Energy was up by 0.73%, Utilities was up by 1.32%, Capital Goods was up by 1.56%, and FMCG was up by 0.27%, while, Realty was down by 0.72%, and Telecom was down by 0.06%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TATA Steel was up by 6.40%, Sun Pharma was up by 3.53%, L&T was up by 2.30%, Mahindra & Mahindra was up by 1.66%, and Power Grid was up by 1.49%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Wipro was down by 6.00%, Asian Paint was down by 2.47%, HDFC Bank was down by 1.81%, Indusind Bank was down by 1.55%, and Kotak Bank was down by 1.46%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 18,257.80 up by 45.45points or 0.25% after trading in a range of 18,272.25 and 18,163.80. There were 36 stocks advancing and 14 stocks declining.
