* The BSE Sensex ended at 60,322.37 down by 396.34 points or 0.65% after trading in a range of 60,802.79 and 60,199.56. There were 8 stocks advancing and 22 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red and green respectively; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.22%, and Small cap index was up by 0.18%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 0.44%, while, Utilities was down by 0.57%, Oil & Gas was down by 1.22%, FMCG was down by 0.63%, Realty was down by 0.88%, Telecom was down by 0.38%, and Energy was down by 2.12%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Maruti was up by 7.31%, Mahindra & Mahindra was up by 3.44%, Tech Mahindra was up by 1.56%, L&T was up by 0.42%, and Bajaj Finance was up by 0.31%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Reliance was down by 2.58%, SBIN was down by 2.31%, UltraTech Cement was down by 2.20%, Indusind Bank was down by 2.05%, and NTPC was down by 2.01%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,999.20 down by 110.25 points or 0.61% after trading in a range of 18,132.65 and 17,958.80. There were 13 stocks advancing and 37 stocks declining.
