* The BSE Sensex ended at 60,008.33 down by 314.04 points or 0.52% after trading in a range of 60,426.61 and 59,944.77. There were 11 stocks advancing and 19 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red and green respectively; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.21%, and Small cap index was up by 0.05%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Utilities was up by 0.46%, and FMCG was up by 0.05%, while, Oil Capital Goods was down by 0.30%, & Gas was down by 1.39%, Realty was down by 1.79%, Telecom was down by 1.02%, and Energy was down by 1.7%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Maruti was up by 2.77%, Asian Paint was up by 2.47%, Power Grid was up by 2.08%, NTPC was up by 1.75%, and ITC was up by 1.68%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were AXIS Bank was down by 1.95%, Reliance was down by 1.91%, Kotak Bank was down by 1.51%, Bharti Airtel was down by 1.39%, and Titan was down by 1.20%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,898.65 down by 100.55 points or 0.56% after trading in a range of 18,022.65 and 17,879.25. There were 15 stocks advancing and 35 stocks declining.
