* The BSE Sensex ended at 59,744.65 up by 142.81 points or 0.24% after trading in a range of 60,130.18 and 59,401.44. There were 15 stocks advancing and 15 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.54%, and Small cap index was up by 0.43%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Oil & Gas was up by 1.14%, FMCG was up by 0.59%, Realty was up by 0.02%, Energy was up by 0.97%, and Utilities was up by 0.59%, while, Capital Goods was down by 0.78%, and Telecom was down by 0.45%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Asian Paint was up by 1.79%, TCS was up by 1.26%, Nestle India was up by 1.23%, UltraTech Cement was up by 1.18%, and ICICI Bank was up by 1.06%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bajaj Finserv was down by 1.39%, Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 1.31%, L&T was down by 1.06%, Bajaj Finance was down by 1.00%, and HDFC was down by 0.98%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,812.70 up by 66.80 points or 0.38% after trading in a range of 17,905.00 and 17,704.55. There were 32 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
