* The BSE Sensex ended at 58,795.09 up by 454.10 points or 0.78% after trading in a range of 58,901.58 and 58,143.86. There were 14 stocks advancing and 16 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.69%, and Small cap index was up by 0.87%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 1.51%, Utilities was up by 1.26%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.19%, FMCG was up by 0.19%, Realty was up by 1.86%, and Energy was up by 4.47%, while, Capital Goods was down by 0.17%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Reliance was up by 6.10%, ITC was up by 1.49%, Infosys was up by 1.47%, Tech Mahindra was up by 1.24%, and Kotak Bank was up by 1.14%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Indusind Bank was down by 1.27%, Maruti was down by 1.23%, ICICI Bank was down by 1.22%, Hindustan Unilever was down by 1.12%, and AXIS Bank was down by 0.75%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,536.25 up by 121.20 points or 0.70% after trading in a range of 17,564.35 and 17,351.70. There were 25 stocks advancing and 25 stocks declining.
