* The BSE Sensex ended at 58,664.33 up by 198.44 points or 0.34% after trading in a range of 58,834.95 and 57,718.34. There were 21 stocks advancing and 9 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.61%, and Small cap index was up by 1.81%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 2.12%, Utilities was up by 3.11%, FMCG was up by 0.55%, Capital Goods was up by 1.83%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.07%, Realty was up by 2.35%, and Energy was up by 1.04%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Power Grid was up by 3.91%, NTPC was up by 2.53%, TATA Steel was up by 2.38%, Bharti Airtel was up by 2.35%, and Sun Pharma was up by 1.73%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Indusind Bank was down by 2.59%, Asian Paint was down by 2.35%, Infosys was down by 1.49%, Bajaj Auto was down by 0.26%, and Maruti was down by 0.21%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,503.35 up by 86.80 points or 0.50% after trading in a range of 17,553.70 and 17,216.10. There were 40 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining.
