* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,861.18 down by 18.82 points or 0.04% after trading in a range of 53,129.37 and 52,804.18. There were 10 stocks advancing and 20 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green and red respectively; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.19%, and Small cap index was down by 0.26%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 0.23%, and Oil & Gas was up by 0.02%, while, FMCG was down by 0.49%, Energy was down by 0.74%, Telecom was down by 0.04%, Realty was down by 0.45%, and Utilities was down by 0.23%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were UltraTech Cement was up by 3.22%, HDFC Bank was up by 2.63%, Bajaj Finance was up by 2.17%, Bajaj Finserv was up by 1.42%, and Kotak Bank was up by 1.34%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Tech Mahindra was down by 2.30%, TCS was down by 1.78%, Maruti was down by 1.13%, Reliance was down by 1.11% and Sun Pharma was down by 1.06%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,818.25 down by 16.10 points or 0.10% after trading in a range of 15,914.20 and 15,801.00. There were 19 stocks advancing and 31 stocks declining.
